10 Makeup Tips That Nobody Told You About PART 3 !!!

Colourful outfits teamed up with light and simple make-up makes for a perfect look. Follow these tips for that amazing look u always wanted:

1. Disguising Under Eye Bags
Most of us tend to just sweep a layer of concealer to the entire under eye area, but to really conceal bags, it’s best to highlight the crease and then apply a darker shade to the actual puffy area.

2. How To Fix Clumpy Mascara

Let’s face it, this happens to every tube of mascara over time. The problem is it dries out and then starts to form unattractive lumps. To help prevent this, don’t pump your mascara trying to get more on your wand; you’re basically pumping air into the tube causing it to dry out even faster.Although mascara should be replaced every 3 to 4 months, I use to replace mine much sooner just because it dries out so fast and creates undesirable results. But, there’s an easy fix for that! Add a drop or two of Visine (or any brand of eye drops) into the tube, and then rub the wand around inside. The Visine softens the mascara liquid, making it apply as if it were a brand new tube!

3. Lipstick Ready

Use a baby toothbrush to exfoliate your lips. To really get the job done, you can make a homemade lip exfoliate with sugar and coconut oil, or easier but not as effective, cover your lips in lip balm or petroleum jelly before scrubbing.

4. Make The Best Of Your Eye Shape

As important as your color choices are, the placement of your shadows and liners is just as critical; you can create just about any illusion that you want. With careful placement, you can make your eyes appear wider, closer set, more prominent, deeper set, etc. Determine what shape of eyes you have, and then accentuate them accordingly.

5. Tightlining

What is tightlining? It’s a way of applying your liner right in between your lashes. This is a great way to appear as though you’re not wearing any makeup at all, yet adding a little bit of color and definition to your eyes, and making the base of your lashes appear thicker.

6. Make Eyeshadows Pop

Have you ever purchased a vibrant color of shadow that once applied appears rather dull? The key to making those colors pop is a white base. Use a white eyeliner and cover your entire lid before applying the color of your choice.

7. The False Eyelash Look

False lashes can be a pain, not to mention time consuming! Here are a few ways to get the look without the hassle:
1. After curling your lashes, apply a thin layer of powder before applying your mascara. I just sweep a small blending brush across my compact and apply it to the top and bottom of my eyelashes. I’ve also heard that some people use baby powder, although I think they both have virtually the same effect; creating a base that makes them appear much fuller.
2. Apply two coats of mascara to the bottom and TOP side of your lashes, but wait 3-5 minutes in between each coat, otherwise they tend to get clumpy (not cute).
3. When applying your mascara, you don’t want to just move your mascara wand from the base of your lashes up. Make sure you are moving the mascara wand back and forth while going up. The left and right motion will make sure every lash is covered entirely, all the way to the tip.
4. Almost done! Now, check your lashes for any gaps. Use the tip of your wand to apply another coat of mascara to individual lashes where they look sparse. Even better, use a fine tipped liquid eyeliner to fine tune and fill in any gaps.

8. Lash Curling Secret

Get the most out of your lash curler by pinching at the very base of  your lashes, and then lifting the curler up into an inverted position. This creates double the curl and lasts much longer!

9. Heat Your Lash Curler

Hold a blow dryer up next to your lash curler for about 3-5 seconds. The heat works the same way as it does with your curling iron, giving you those flirty lashes that will last all day.

10. The Perfect Match

This is the one thing that no matter how well it’s applied, if it’s the wrong color, it will look terrible! We all dread that our foundation will give us a ghost face or even worse, that dreaded orange jaw line. Because your neck isn’t exposed to the sun as much as your face, it is much better for matching your true color.

10 Makeup Tips That Nobody Told You About PART 10 !

Every girl has her beauty secrets for perfect nails, hair and make-up. Here I have for you some of my favourite beauty tips and tricks that really work and I personally have been using for such a long time.

1. Fix broken lipstick

Let’s face it – at some point in our lives we all have had to deal with the “broken lipstick” problem. Don’t throw it away .There is a way to fix it and it’s very simple – just melt it a bit with a hairdryer or lighter , even out the broken edges, put it in the fridge overnight and voilà – your lipstick will be as good as new!

2. Keep lipstick of your lips

Here I have 2 tips for making your teeth lipstickless.
The first one is used by celebrities and girls in beauty pageants and it’s very simple – just run some vaseline over your teeth before you put on lipstick and you’re good to go.
The second one may sound a bit strange but it helps a lot. Apply lipstick, put your finger in your mouth and pull it out! That way, all the lipstick in the inside of your lips will be gone and you won’t have to worry that your teeth may turn red in the middle of the day!

3. Use mascara as eyeliner

Imagine this – Friday night, you’re going out with your girlfriends and you just started doing your make-up. But you’re out of eyeliner! If this happens way too often, this beauty trick is for you! You just have to rub your eyeliner brush on the mascara brush and you’re good to go! Bonus tip: if you don’t have an eyeliner brush, you can melt an eyeliner pencil with a lighter, wait several minutes to cool completely and apply like you normally would apply you eyeliner.

4. The business card trick

Put a business card on your eyelid, hold your eyelid up and apply mascara as usual. This way, the card will protect your eyelids from getting mascara all over them and you won’t have to remove  your eye make-up and doing it again. Bonus tip: You can use business cards to fill in your brows, make a “cat eye” or even apply blush and bronzer on your cheeks.

   5. Shave legs with conditioner

You don’t need much explanation for this one. Just use some hair conditioner (it doesn’t have to be an expensive one) instead of shaving cream and it will prevent dryness of the skin and make the hair grow slower.

  6. Make perfume last longer

This one is another vaseline tip. As strange as it sounds, if you want to make your perfume last longer, just rub a little vaseline on your skin before you spray the perfume.

  7. Drying hair with T-shirt

If your hair is frizzy and you have split ends, this tip is for you. It may sound ridiculous, but the cure for these 2 things is drying you hair with a simple cotton T-shirt.

  8. Using a toothbrush in your hair routine

This beauty trick involves using a toothbrush in your daily hair routine. If you have flyaways that ruin your perfect hairstyle just hairspray and old toothbrush and “comb” them back. It’s easy, fast and cheap and your hairstyle will look as if it’s made by a professional. Another thing you can do with a toothbrush is tease your hair. It’s like teasing it with a comb and if you don’t have one in hand, the toothbrush is the perfect substitute.

  9. Perfect French manicure

After you apply your base coat and wait for it to dry, put a Band Aid over most of your nail, leaving the tip open so you can paint on it. Then apply a nail polish of your choice over the tip and you’re done.

  10.Fix broken powder

Now you can fix broken powders, blushesh or even eve shadows by mixing the broken pieces with some rubbing alcohol and pouring the mixture in a container (the old one if it’s not broken). Leave them to settle overnight and in the morning you’ll have perfectly good make-up!

Beauty regime for brides-to-be

Your wedding day is just a few months away and all that you have been doing so far is the endless shopping and running around.

Though you might have shopped for the best dress and perfect jewellery, if you are going to be stressed on your big day, then all the hard work that you have put in to look your best will go down the drain. With the pressure mounting on the brides-to-be to look gorgeous, don't forget to take care of your body amid all the chaos. We offer you some tips...

Choose the right facial and skin treatments:

It is time to make those salon appointments as your wedding day is getting closer. Start treatments for your face at least three months before your big day. While there are plenty of skin treatments and facials to choose from, it is advisable to go with something that suits your skin. Get your skin analyzed by a senior beauty specialist and choose your bridal package accordingly.

Go for regular massages:

You are bound to be stressed during the process of your wedding. So, it is important to go for regular massages and body spas. It not just rejuvenates your body, but also tightens your skin.

Hair spa and haircuts:

Trim your hair regularly. In case you are thinking of getting a hair cut, you must do that at least three months before your wedding. Also, go for regular hair spas to keep your hair strong and healthy. If you have dry or oily hair, get a hair treatment customized by your hair specialist.

Get manicure/ pedicure:

It is important to keep your nails clean after your engagement. Friends and relatives will keep asking you to flash your ring, and it might get embarrassing if you have a chipped nail. So, keep your nails sparkling and get manicure and pedicure done regularly.

Make appointments with your dentist:

You have to flash that million dollar smile a million times on your wedding day. So, opt for teeth whitening treatment before your wedding day.

Go for a makeup trial:

Your beautician might suggest you a makeup or hairdo off the look-book, but it is important to go for a makeup trial before the wedding. It might cost some bucks, but it is necessary to do so to avoid looking like a Christmas tree on your big day. Take your outfit, and spend some time finding out the hairdo and the look you want to sport on your wedding day.

Get The Celebrity Look: Smoky Eyes

To copy the bevy of celebs sporting smoldering, smoky eyes on the red carpet, stay away from blue hues - which can make you look like you have undereye circles, says Giorgio Armani makeup artist André Drykin. Instead, go for black, gray, brown or if you want "color," dark green shadows and liners. Then, follow these steps:

1. Apply a cream concealer over your eyelid to create a smooth base for your eyeshadow.

2. Use a pencil liner (black or gray looks best) to trace your top lashline from the inner corner to the outer. Then, use the same pencil to dot between your lower lashes. Smudge both lashlines with a cotton swab or an eyeliner brush.

3. Sweep powder shadow (brown, gray and dark green all work with black or gray liner) over your lid and into your crease, blending the color up and outward, says New York City makeup artist Morgen Schick DeMann.Marie Claire recommends: Morgen Stained Glass Eye Wash in Spruce; Shiseido The Makeup Eye Shadow Brush; Cover Girl Perfect Blend Pencil in Basic Black; Origins Full Story Lush-Lash Mascara in Black.

TIP: To prevent color from fading and give your lids a more shimmery finish, pat a cream shadow over the concealer on your lid first, wait five minutes, then top with a matching powder shadow.

4. Dust a lighter, neutral eyeshadow (such as ivory) over just your browbone.

5. Finish with two coats of black mascara.
