Easy Tricks to Cope With Your Eyebrows
I know you’re beautiful but it’s not enough to have beautiful features, there are hairs everywhere and it is not very good looking when you have hairy and unmaintained eyebrows. That’s the reason why we are eager to show you some clever tricks for shaping perfect eyebrows, which will match with your beautiful face:
- Pluck your brows after shower. Warm water opens the follicles and soften the hairs and help them to come out more easily.
- Manage the pain. So little hairs and so much pain, it’s unfair! Use some numbing gel to eliminate the pain.
- Don’t use magnifying mirror. It can make it look like there is more hair to remove, which is unnecessary and can lead to overplucking. Use a regular mirror in a well-lit room – if you can’t see the hair under these conditions, neither can anyone else.
- Remember to define your arch limits. The common way to do it is to use a pencil for guidance. Your brow should start directly above your tear duct, peak in line with the outer side of your iris and ends where the pencil is going through the outer corner of your eye. Don’t move the starting point of the pencil – at the base of the nose.
- Create the shape. Use soft, creamy brow pencil and remove only the hairs that are above or below the shape you’ve made.
- Don’t allow the redness to come. Right after tweezing use some moisturizing cream.
- Brush them up. Your brows will be messy after the tweezing and you should put them in order.
- Choose the right colour. After tweezing you’ll need to fill in the blanks but be careful with the colours. If you are brunette use one or two shades lighter than your hair colour. And for the blondes – go for golden shades. If you have nice red hair – use warm, brown hue.
- Shaping your brows is tricky business. Their form could change entirely your face look and expression. So, be careful and follow these steps for plucking the perfect eyebrows.

Fresh Eye Look for the Summer
Looking fresh and natural should be one of your top priorities in the summer. Of course, a small part of us like a “naked” look with no makeup, so here is an idea of how to keep a fresh appearance with a little emphasizing on the eyes.
- Apply a little brown eyeshadow on the top line of your eyelid.
- Draw a slight line with black eyeliner.
- Fill it and make it a little wider with a little pin-up wing finish on the outer part of the eye.
See? Just for a minute you have a fresh, yet not too dark eye makeup!
Bold Eye – Vibrant Lip Makeup
Like in fashion, rules in makeup should not be considered. The bolder and wilder you are, the more successful you might be in expressing yourself. Many times we have heard that if you are doing a strong eye makeup, you should do a nude lip, and the other way around too: red lipstick does not go with black smoky eyes. That has changed! You can do both a strong eye and lip and look fashionable and stylish in the same time. Here is one idea:
- With the help of a very small thin brush, apply a dark eyeliner contour from the inner end of your eye to its outside.
- Using brush and a colorful liquid eyeliner or an eyeshadow, draw a brightly colored line over the black one. Make it thicker and longer than the basic one.
- Now do a bold lip in bright red!
Adding color to your makeup routine and being crazier with it is not a bad thing and the best time to do it is definitely summer!

Cat Eye Tips
The cat eye eyeliner has many different techniques and interpretations, we all know that. As it is one of the most popular eyeliner, that is absolutely normal. Personally, I begin with drawing the line over the eyelid, but in the picture below we have a starting point from the cat eye line.
So, let’s get started! You begin drawing the line in the corner of your eyes by placing two dots and afterwards connecting them. Then you repeat the step until you are completely satisfied with the result.
Lastly, you just fully finish your eyeliner and voila! You now have a gorgeous eyeliner.
Get Rid of The Chin Hair
It’s happening sometimes and we are not guilty for having nasty genes. Some of us have a little bit more of facial hair. More than needed. But there is a safe haven – homemade sugar wax for with will help you to get rid of that hairs. You will notice that after a few uses the hair won’t grow anymore. Check it out:
- Mix two teaspoons of granulated sugar and one teaspoon each of honey and water.
- Heat the mixture in a microwave for about half a minute until it bubbles and turns brown. Let it cool.
- Apply it on the areas where you have hairs with a spatula.
- Place a cloth strip over the sugar wax and smooth it out with your fingers in the direction of the hair growth.
- Rip it off in the opposite direction of hair growth.
- Repeat as needed.
- Remember not to apply any cosmetics after that procedure. Just wash your face with warm water. You can apply cream the day after.

Glam Half-up Bouffant Tutorial
Some of us just can’t manage to do the complicated beautiful hairstyles that professionals do at home. That is why we are showing you how you can make your appearance a little different without having lots of skills. For this retro hairstyle you just need some hairspray and a thin comb.
- When doing a special hairstyle, it is better that the hair is not freshly washed, since it is less manageable.
- Using the handle of a thin comb, divide your hair and place your hairline on one side.
- Tease the hair on the back of your head with the comb to get more volume there.
- Tame any frizz at the back of your hair and pin it through the mid-lengths.
- Pull out the front locks of your hair in front of your ears. You may slightly shift the front locks upwards for a more retro look.
- Fixate the hairstyle with some hairspray.
You are done and looking gorgeous like a diva from the 60s!

Be scorching hot at parties this summer
With Mumbai summer refusing to bow out, we are left to deal with a rather long stint of heat and humidity.

But are you letting it affect your social life, or rather, 'look'? Here are a few tips to keep in mind when stepping out for a party this summer...
Keep it simple
Beauty consultant Manasi Bhakade states, "Always begin day makeup with a sunblock (at least SPF 30), followed by a light oil-free foundation or BB/CC cream. Shadow and mascara on your eyes and a nourishing lip tint later, you are good to face the day." According to senior makeup artiste Sonic Sarwate, one should choose makeup that blends well with the skin and doesn't feel heavy.
Use concealers
Dr Geeta Oberoi, dermatologist, says, "Use mineral-based makeup and keep your base to a minimum. Rather than using heavy foundation, use concealers to get a flawless face."
Do a double cleansing
Removing makeup is a must before you hit the sack. "Do a double cleansing procedure to unclog pores — a cleanser followed by medicated face wash," says Dr Oberoi. If you have oily skin, do not work your skin too much because it will end up making your skin more oily.
Close pores
You must use an alcohol-free toner after every wash to close open pores.
If you sweat a lot...
"Use lotions containing aluminium chlorohydrate. It works as an antiperspirant. However, in some cases, it can cause skin irritation. So, ask your dermatologist first," Dr Oberoi explains.
Use the right makeup
Dr Sama Rais, dermatologist and cosmetologist, advises using makeup that is 'non-comedogenic' or 'non-acnegenic' — it won't clog pores or cause pimples.
Home remedies
Dr Poonam Wadhwani, cosmetic dermatologist, suggests, "Wear dark colours that hide sweat patches. For dark circles, try home remedies like applying cool tea bags on the eyes for 15 minutes or applying cucumber juice and potato juice."
Get this look
- Use a concealer and then apply a hydrating base that matches your skin tone.
- Use a light-brown or coral-toned blush.
- Apply highlighter on your brow bone, cheeks and in the inner corner of your eyes.
- A warm eye-shadow will enlarge and brighten your peepers.
- Line your eyes with smudge-proof kohl.
- Curl your lashes; apply a coat of mascara.
- Now apply a bright lipstick.
Lovely Nails in Grey and Neon Yellow
Check out this tutorial and see how to recreate the next awesome nail design, ideal for the summer.
- You will need grey and neon yellow nail polish, as well as some tape.
- First paint your nails with yellow and make sure it is completely dry, before proceeding to the next step.
- Cut three thin tape stripes for each nail and stick them in the middle of the nail, as shown on the picture.
- Finally, apply the gray nail polish and remove the stripes carefully.
Voila! You are a proud owner of gorgeous nails. Don`t forget the top coat – this will protect the manicure and make it last longer.
Make Your Brows Thick and Dense
How to make your brows look thicker ? Here are some tips for you

After that use the brush from your mascara to fill the gaps.

How to Make The Perfect Eyeliner
Today we will show you how to perfect the eyeliner in order to get that sexy look
As you can see, in the tutorial picture we already have our eye shadows applied, but if you wish you can put them on afterwards and repeat the eyeliner – it depends on your own technique. If you are unsure of your ability to put on eyeliner, I would suggest you to apply the shades later, because there will be a lot of cotton bud usage!
So, as a start, you start your eyeliner from the corner of the eye, making the cat eye twist first. Then you make another line, connecting your upper and lower lid. When you are done with that, all you need to do is fill the uncolored area between the two lines and you are done!
Striped Nail Art – Easy Steps
If you are looking for fancy nail art , do this wonderful nails ! A few different colors of polish, small scissors and thin tape will be all you’re going to need.
Cut the tapes into pieces before you begin, so it will be easier, and just follow the steps in the picture below. Good luck!
You're Done =)

- Mix a peachy-pink lip color with a nude one to make an opaque shade.
- Press a hot pink blush over your lips with a flat makeup brush in order to give the lipsmatte effect.
- Make your lips pop out by applying concealer around your mouth.

How to Avoid Bubbly Manicures
I know you all hate it when you manage to do your nails perfectly and then after a few hours you look down only to see the bubbles. Well, now you will know how to avoid them!
- Clean your nails with a polish cleaner, even if they haven’t been polished.
- Dry your nails off if you have moisturized them.
- Don’t even think about shaking the tube of polished ever again! You can swipe it back and forth, if you think it needs it.
- Keep your coats thin.
- Don’t use a fan or a dryer to quicken the drying process of your nails, bubbles will appear if the top layer has dried before the one underneath.
